An immersive journey through matter and light

NEUTRA returned to Palazzo Visconti with the second chapter of Monochrome Affinity, the exhibition project curated by Migliore+Servetto studio, creative director of the brand. Continuing the vision introduced last year, the journey unfolded further through new collections and evocative scenographies, guided by a single, cohesive vision: an immersion into NEUTRA’s material identity, its design savoir-faire, and the chromatic world of natural stone—undisputed protagonist of a narrative shaped by affinities and contrasts, harmonies and tensions.

The exhibition journey at Palazzo Visconti

Across the rooms of the piano nobile, the rich chromatic depth of the materials shapes environments that shift and resonate. Marble enters into a dialogue with light, while furnishings create scenes that feel both composed and lived in. An interior that is not simply revealed but discovered as one moves through it.

Atelier NEUTRA

Atelier NEUTRA

The journey begins with a space that introduces the NEUTRA experience. Like a tailor’s atelier, a central table displays marbles, natural stones, leathers, and metals arranged as moodboards—an open material library conceived for creative minds. On either side, large screens draw visitors into the process, where marble is turned, polished, brushed, and carved, in a narrative that flows between physical and digital. Completing the setting, a clear expression of the brand’s experimental spirit is expressed through the Aer Low Chair, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.

The Living Room

The Great Hall

The main salon embodies the concept of Unique by NEUTRA. This generous space, where living and dining come together, expresses the many facets of the brand and the inherent uniqueness of its creations. It is a setting of refined elegance, defined by the warm, natural tones of Travertino crema, Taj Mahal quartzite, and Onice Oliva. The Corbula sideboard subtly divides the space without interrupting its flow. On one side, comfort takes shape in the Terrae corner sofa and Bold armchairs; on the other, conviviality unfolds around the Islas table, paired with Alis chairs. A constellation of complementary pieces completes the scene—the Pagina bookcase, the Double sideboard, the Atolls and Delos coffee tables, and the Lente lamp. Soft, enveloping tones, ranging from cream to brown, create an intimate and reassuring domestic atmosphere, where nature remains the true protagonist, gently filtering through the surfaces.

The Great Hall

The Living Room

Black and white: a play of contrasts shapes the living space. The purity of Lasa marble, the intensity of Eclipse, and the vibrant rhythm of Grand Antique compose a scenography that alternates light and shadow. At its center, two Eryon sofa compositions become the focal point of conviviality, balancing aesthetics and function. Around them, the Coronae coffee tables, the wall-mounted Corbula sideboard, the Lente lamp, and the Piega sideboard come together, weaving a narrative in which the harmony of opposites takes shape.

The Bedroom

The Bedroom

A suite in twilight tones evokes a sense of quiet and intimacy from the very first glance. Here, Bianco Dolcevita, the deep indigo of Azul Macaubas, and Onice Rosa unfold in a sequence of soft, evocative hues that bring a harmonious balance to the furnishings. At the heart of the space, the Charmève bed anchors the room, accompanied by a small lounge area that adds both character and function. The Artemisia armchairs, Coronae coffee table, Bau cabinet, and Strobilo lamp come together to form a refined corner for relaxation, reading, or conversation. Drawing the eye, the Namib bathtub by DRAW Studio stands as a sculptural, architectural presence, balancing rigor and grace in seamless continuity with the surrounding design.

The Lounge

The Lounge

Concluding the journey, a space for pause and encounter unfolds, inspired by the language of refined hospitality. From Giallo Siena to Palissandro, rich, deep tones shape the atmosphere, shifting from vibrant yellow to warmer shades of beige, accompanying the passing hours like a gentle embrace. Within this setting, the Artemisia high stools, Double sideboard, and Leaf coffee tables find their place, while at the center, the Sao Miguel sofas anchor the space, creating a convivial environment designed to foster connection.

Ico Migliore presents the exhibition project.

Founder of Migliore+Servetto and Creative Director of NEUTRA, Ico Migliore presents Monochrome Affinity, Chapter 2 at Palazzo Visconti. Five rooms create an immersive journey through the chromatic complexity of natural stone. Marble, metal, leather, and textiles enter into dialogue—through both affinity and contrast.A journey that explores different ways of inhabiting space: from the materials atelier to the living area, main salon, bedroom, and finally lounge. Each room presents a distinct vision, all held together by a shared language of matter. It is here that NEUTRA’s most design-driven dimension is fully expressed.

The Atelier. Where material precedes space.

Before the furnishings, before the rooms. The Atelier is the entry point of Monochrome Affinity: a space conceived as a threshold, where a monumental table transforms into a landscape of matter. Marbles, natural stones, metals, leathers, and textiles compose moodboards of chromatic affinity, the starting point of every NEUTRA project. This is where the process of customisation takes form: not as a catalogue selection, but as an act of design. Mara Servetto and Simona Sbordone explore this vision.

Within the new curatorial programme exhibition Salone Raritas — dedicated to collectible design — NEUTRA gives expression to its most experimental and artistic impulse. At the centre: the Erosion collection, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and now expanded with new pieces that push the expressive and structural potential of marble further still, into the territory between art and high craftsmanship.
