The Artemisia armchair is a euphonic harmony of sweetness and vigor, elegance and grit: the perfect symbol of femininity, both in spirit and aesthetic.
Named after Queen Artemisia — the lady of Halicarnassus and the only woman to lead a Persian fleet in the 5th century BC— Gallizioli's creation asserts itself in the space with the same authority, strong personality and sophisticated appeal, thanks to the choice of matter and design. The silhouette itself evokes her figure, a play of curves and sinuous lines that define each element, both in the structure and in the upholstered parts of the seat and backrest. Like its namesake, the armchair too creates a tale of timeless beauty, letting oneself be cradled between memories and the present.
Naturally Sensual
The identity of Artemisia is revealed as a perfect balance between delicate visibility and solid presence. A harmony made even more intense by the refined combination of materials, paired with elegant naturalness: its curves are an invitation to relax, conveying a reassuring sense of comfort.
The soft upholstery enhances the roundness of the seat and the backrest especially that seamlessly extends into the armrest, creating a welcoming gesture.
Supporting it all is a light, airy structure, carefully polished to create a subtle wave-like movement along the edges. A detail giving Artemisia's profile a fluid and timeless elegance.
