Conceived by DRAW Studio, it takes its name from one of the world’s oldest deserts, where sweeping dunes meet the ocean. From this evocative setting emerges a bathtub with a low, expansive silhouette, designed to transform well-being into a deeply immersive experience.
A Landscape to Inhabit
More than a bathtub, Namib is a landscape designed for living. Its form is inspired by the desert from which it takes its name: a place suspended between earth and sea, where monumental dunes rise and fall in soft, fluid contours. As light moves across their surfaces, the sand reveals an endless spectrum of tones, shifting from deep red to muted pink, while the ocean gently shapes the shoreline beyond.
This natural poetry finds expression in Namib’s silhouette. Its generous curves echo the flowing geometry of the dunes, creating an intimate oasis dedicated to rest and relaxation.
Soft and enveloping, the form is conceived to support the body naturally, offering comfort for the back and a place for the arms to settle with ease.
