The Inkstone bathtub represents a union of East and West. The master craftsmanship of Made in Italy sculpts natural stone into forms that evoke the timeless elegance of Chinese culture, characterized by slow rituals and profound reflection. This creation, designed by Hong Kong architect and designer Steve Leung, brings Eastern art and philosophy to life within the solidity of contemporary design.
Inkstone recounts an ancient heritage, where every gesture is imbued with virtue. Its design is directly inspired by the inkstone—one of the “four treasures of the scholar” in Chinese calligraphic tradition—which is more than just an object; it is a moment of creation and contemplation.
Like the ancient concave stone that holds and protects ink with its irregular shape, Inkstone serves as a guardian of suspended spirituality. It is a piece of furniture rich in elegance and depth.
