Tensions, Forms, and Volumes
At the core of the design is the split leg — a sculptural gesture that defines the table’s identity. The outer face, flat and assertive, contrasts with the gently curved inner surface: two volumes in silent dialogue, drawing near yet never touching. Between them, a precise void emerges — a line of tension that captures the gaze and lends rhythm to the composition.
This architectural gap, minimal yet profound, accentuates the material presence of the marble, revealing new nuances with every change of perspective. Refined metal inlays at the base and meticulously crafted finishes speak to an obsessive attention to detail.
The same design sensibility is echoed in the tabletop, where contrasting linearities converge — soft curves and subtle inclinations along the edges. The smooth, polished surface flows seamlessly into the sculptural base, elevating both the tactile richness of the material and the precision of artisanal craftsmanship.
