Luca Martorano

Born in Bressanone (Bolzano) in 1980, Luca Martorano has shown a strong passion for painting and design from a young age, directing his education towards the artistic field. In 1995, his encounter with Giorgioppi instilled in him a deep enthusiasm for images, graphics and Renaissance art.

In 1999, after graduating in art and graphics, he moved to Milan to attend the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Polytechnic, where he had the opportunity to attend lectures by illustrious masters such as Enzo Mari, Andrea Branzi and Ezio Manzini. Between 2007 and 2010 he collaborated with the studios of Toan Nguyen and Matteo Thun; in 2011 he moved to London designing for two major English interior brands. Since 2012 he has been based in Bolzano where he currently lives and works. His predilection for sober and clean forms and his awareness of natural materials have gradually led him towards quality productions and a constant search for balance between technique and style.
