With its elongated and fluid silhouette, Artemisia rises proudly, revealing upfront her regal and charismatic nature. A vertical gesture that speaks of elegance and strength, much like the Queen of Halicarnassus, the only woman to lead a Persian fleet in the 5th century BC.
Stefano Gallizioli gives from to history by reinterpreting that feminine strength with a modern approach. Thus, a seat with an aura of authority and charm is born, becoming a living presence in spaces.
Recalling the style of the armchair from which it derives, the chair has a slenderer and more sinuous base, enhancing its curved and harmonious profiles. A visual caress completes the composition, a soft and delicate frame providing balance and sweetness to the structure. Harmony in opposites
With Artemisia, opposites blend organically, finding a perfect balance between lightness and density. The subtle and gently curved structure gracefully supports a full, reassuringly generous seat. The sinuous profile extends to the backrest which stretches and leads into a flowing gesture toward the armrests, embracing the body with warmth and protection.
Even the materials converse in a language of duality: the rigorous warmth of wood interacts with the welcoming softness of the upholstery fabric, creating a sensory contrast that is a caress to both the eyes and touch.
