Aves
Table / by DRAW Studio
A project by Draw Studio, the Aves table is a sculptural piece that challenges matter. Its form is a call to lightness, a play on horizontal tension where the finely carved marble becomes the protagonist of an unexpected balance.
Majestic lightness
With Aves, Draw Studio has captured the solemnity of marble in a form of surprising lightness, transforming the dining table into a gesture suspended between strength and delicacy. Its subtle, almost ethereal-like surfaces intertwine in a poetic dialogue of interlocking elements, reflections, and subtle tensions — almost like an origami sculpted into the matter.
The form yields to the marble, allowing the material to take center stage. The elongated top, resembling two wings brushing against each other, symmetrical and suspended, appears to float, precisely balancing the weight of the volume. At its center, a thin sheet of finely crafted metal cuts through the top like a shadow line, dividing it into two mirrored semi-ellipses. Everything is balance, rhythm, and proportion.

Art in the details
Aves soars through space with ethereal lightness, unfolding its wings equally divided at the center by a thin metal sheet that reflects the image of the base in a play of visual continuity.
This theatrical device enhances the precious effect of the four marble slabs, enriched with deeper grooves at the center that gradually fade toward the edges. A refined detail that reveals the authenticity of solid marble and makes it vibrate when struck by light.
